Dr. David Morton is an Associate Professor of Neurobiology and Anatomy at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He teaches in the gross anatomy, neuroanatomy and histology courses and since 2006 has served as the school’s course director for gross anatomy. During his career, he has created a library of hundreds of original illustrations as well as prosection and osteological images. In addition, David has served as a member of the School of Medicine’s Curriculum Committee and director for the Foundations of Medicine and Skin, Muscle, Bone and Joint units. David has dedicated a large portion of his career to studying the use of technology in medical education here in the United States as well as in developing nations such as Ghana, West Africa.
